Kelly Clarke

Kelly joined chambers after a successful criminal pupillage under the supervision of Anne Richardson.

Before joining chambers Kelly had an accomplished career predominantly in sales and prides herself in her personable approach and strong communication skills.

Kelly accepts instructions in all areas of criminal law, both prosecuting and defending.

Being a grade 1 prosecutor she has prosecuted cases effectively in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts’.

She has extensive experience in a broad range of criminal law dealing with cases not limited to public order, sexual and violent offences, and is noted for her ability to defend traffic law cases.

Her strong communication skills and personable nature means that she has a natural ability to successfully network between both professional and lay clients and her preparation and analysis of cases means that she offers pertinent and reasoned advice. Kelly has a cheerful sense of humour that can immediately put people at ease, this attribute has also enabled her to deal with some of the more emotionally charged cases that she has encountered.
