Helen joined the family team having transferred to the bar following a long and successful career as a solicitor. Latterly worked as a consultant solicitor undertaking complex local authority work.
Qualifying as a solicitor in 2007 she has been a children panel member for the past 8 years. During her time as a solicitor Helen has undertaken extremely complex local authority, parent and guardian work – including surrogacy, adoption involving international elements. She has gained a reputation for going the extra mile and building good rapport with clients.
She accepts instructions in all areas of children law, including care proceedings, adoptions and private law disputes.
Helen regularly appears in the High Court and has recently been successful in a leave to oppose adoption for a birth mother before the Honourable Mr Justice Cobb.
