Neil Gibson

synopsis

Before joining Chambers, Neil spent seventeen years working in both national and international court environments. During the four years before joining Chambers, he spent three years managing the Court Management Unit at the Special Court for Sierra Leone. He then returned to the Ministry of Justice as the family listing officer for the North East Group before leaving to take up a consultancy position as United Nations adviser to the chief of court management at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia.  Prior to commencing his consultancy appointment Neil accepted the offer of a position within Broad Chare Chambers, which he undertook upon his return in 2007.

Other information:

Outside Chambers, Neil enjoys spending time with his wife, Carolyn and three children Gemma, Jack and Harry. On rare occasions he also manages the odd night out or game of golf with his friends.
