synopsis
Nathan’s practice encompasses matrimonial and family finance and general civil law, with particular specialisms in ancillary relief, trusts of land and legal costs. He also regularly advises and appears in cases concerning contract, chancery, probate, insolvency, partnership disputes, housing, boundary disputes, easements and actions against the police.
In addition to a busy paper practice advising and drafting documents, Nathan has a court practice spanning circuit. As well as appearing in the county court on a nearly daily basis, Nathan has conducted cases in the High Court, Court of Appeal, Superior Courts Costs Office, Lands Tribunal and Unified Appeal Tribunal.
Nathan regularly presents CPD talks to solicitors across a range of topics, in particular ancillary relief and legal costs, and is always keen to assist with any requests for seminars or training. He is co-organiser of the local rounds of the National Mock Trial Schools competition held at Newcastle Crown Court.
