Mark has a busy circuit practice with over 16 years in Chambers after a significant period with another set in Newcastle. Wide-ranging expertise in criminal matters with a particular interest in sex, drugs and violence. Serious criminal trials include murder, rape, gang-related violence, complex fraud and drug conspiracies.
Mark undertakes a wide range of regulatory and public interest immunity work on behalf of local authorities and public bodies. He has developed a specialism in wildlife crime and has appeared in many important cases in courts around the country.

He appears regularly in family cases covering wide-ranging issues of public and private law.
Cameo appearances in the Court of Appeal.
