Jason is a leading junior with extensive experience in serious crime. He acts exclusively for the defence and has conducted numerous high profile criminal cases at trial and on appeal. Jason’s criminal practice includes leading and junior work in relation to:
- Corporate and white collar crime, including money laundering and asset restraint
- Murder, large-scale importation and other serious offences
- Multiple rape and other sexual offences
- Criminal and civil forfeiture
Jason is regularly instructed to advise in cases that involve unusual and complex points of law. He is a highly skilled and tactical trial advocate with an affable jury manner.

Jason is a highly accomplished public lawyer and acts on behalf of claimants and defendants in a wide variety of cases involving civil liberties and human rights. He is one of the UK’s leading prison law barristers and a substantial proportion of his practice involves advising prisoners on their rights.
