synopsis
After gaining experience practising in criminal, civil and employment law, Helen has been a specialist practitioner covering all areas of family law since 1993.
Care and adoption
Helen acts for many Local Authorities as well as parents and children. She has significant experience in serious cases of sexual abuse and non accidental injury, including those where the death of a child, shaking injuries, burns and multiple fractures are involved.
Finance
Helen advises on a wide range of financial matters. She has extensive experience of ancillary relief cases with particular emphasis on those involving substantial assets, interpretation of business accounts, farming interests and foreign assets.
Helen has substantial experience in cases involving cohabitees – whether a claim for provision under Schedule 1 of the Children Act or TOLATA.
